Lisaaa's Inspiration : POD : The Colour Wheel

Well, new exciting assignment.

Why EXCITING ?

COLOUR ! Daaaa, what else lisa is interested in.. -.-'

So, we come up with dang lots of ideas such as dominos, lantern, boat, stadium with people inside, and etc..

the best part ? kidding ! there's no best part.. Every single part of this task is best parts.

I suggested the tunnel idea and i was inspired by the DORAEMON tunnel..

The tunnel is going to be big at the entrance and is going to get smaller as it go deeper and at the end they have to crawl..

Isn't is exciting ?

hee, well we have some issues going on during the construction.

First day,

measurement are in inches

Me and my team which consist of jamie, ailsa, afiqah, zainah and kashwini starting measuring and after we get the correct measurement, we decided on the colours. We went through a lot of website and we also do a lot of calling..

Lastly after a lot of research i found a good balloon supplier and got the deal with a reasonable price.

FRIDAY

We started on building the arches, largest and smallest so we can get the rough picture of how big this ballon tunnel gonna be.

We leaned the constructed arches to the glass without realizing the damage that cause us. Everything seems great i will proudly says that is the happiest moment seeing the structure stand there.

DISASTER STRIKE

Seeing this, my heart shattered. My whole team heart are broken into pieces. Our hard work fall apart and I silently cried inside. Its painful seeing it laying on the ground. No standing tall as before. There's nothing we can do as someone were using the room.. We sat outside the room and watched the balloon falls apart and lay on the ground. We realized that

causing the whole structure to collapse

We almost gave up and my team want to change plan but I believe in this plan. Im sticking to my plan and they are all with me. The risk is on me now. If this does not work out, They will put the blame on me. The PRESSURE is on !

We continue blowing the rest of the balloons outside the room since we still can't use the room

After some calculation, we realize we are short of balloons. We tried to save as many balloons as we can as the balloons are sticking to each other and making them almost impossible to save. Even though im crying inside i forced myself to moved my hands and legs to re-build the structure.

I can say that was our tight moment. The other four was assign to blow the rest of the balloon while me and jamie worked on the structure.

This is only quarter of balloons that we need.

We purposely put it there because we want the balloons to be under the aircond at all time. We can't afford to lose anymore balloons.

There's laughter here and there during the process.. We worked day and night for this project since we don't have much time. We have about one more day to exhibition day.

We are RACING with time.

Its saturday and everyone was there early except for me. I have to attended an interview at UITM Shah Alam. It was a mess. I've been too busy that i didn't even bring a complete documents. Yet, i still go for the interview. I waited there for 2 and half hour and i couldn't take it any longer. My head is bursting and i can't help myself thinking about project. I've reach my limits, i grab my things and head back to campus. I abandoned my interview for the sake of this project. Thinking all the responsibility is on me now, i have to head back to campus.

Let just put it this way

IT'S NOT MY DAY

The decoration is on process..

After some discussion we decided to put it according to the complementary colour.

And on the same day,

I argue with ailsa over some stuff, me and ailsa really can't work well.. On this project.

I was quiet the whole day, it cross my mind i sacrificed my interview for this argument. but i let it go..

I just assumed uitm is simply not for me..

The journey CONTINUE,

Show day,

Before that, the night before.. Me, ailsa, afiqah and kash sleep over at the campus since we have to wake up early in the morning finishing the very end part of the tunnel which is the door.

Still working on constructing the night before the exhibition.

Few hours to exhibition .

Im a serious person when it comes to work, yes i know in every picture, im working.. haha, simply im not a camera person when it comes to work.

I believe everyone is in their stress mode,

SHOWTIME

Ailsa who is in-charge of the rest area is making sure everything is in perfect condition

Afiqah who is in-charged of the decoration is getting all hyper-up after finishing her work.

Before i forget,

Everyone have their specific job. I originally wanted it to be a team work but realizing how hard is it for everyone to complete one work, Our group leader Jamie assign us with our own task.

I can say assisting all of us is the hardest work out of all of us. Since they have to help each and everyone of us. I had an argument with ailsa quite a few times in this task since she sometimes over-power other which to me is unprofessional. But we sorted everything out.

Well, No picture of me since im too busy with the balloon tunnel like in the rest of the construction picture.
