2D Design : MONOGRAMS

Miss Maslisa assigned us to another assignment which is the monograms. Monograms represents us. As for me I've decided to us L and V representing Lisa Viour.

And we have to do it on our 6 items. I have to admit I've destroyed quite a lot of stuff during this process since im still new with spray painting.

I drew almost 10 pages of monograms designs

few of my designs

After few consultation with miss maslisa, she told me she like this design of mine. Its very fragile and a little hard to work with but i made it through.

Testing 1. Lord know many stuff was destroyed in this process.

And here are my monograms.

CONTEXTUAL : Production Report 2.4

We're into the editing section of the movie!
All the scenes are fully filmed and down with,
now it's up to
Ailsa, Jamis and I to edit the scenes and complete everything before 19th of December!

Other than that, Mr Charles have reminded us to finish up our posters for promoting purposes.

Here's our group poster!
It's designed and polished by Jamie using Photoshop and SAI.

we decided to put in ancient codes overlapping the brain to show the capability of a human's brain.
The background's a gun, if you're wondering.

It signifies that the more secrets you try to uncover,
the more a dangerous situation you're in.

At the end, it is merely up to you to decide whether you are brave enough to step out and embrace the risks and challenge the dangers of obtaining wisdom.

Editing on the way!

The movie will be out in the next post,

2D : What's Your Square Exhibition

The whole FID 2013 cooperate together and presented an exhibition on 'what's your square' at the CODA Gallery.

Happy news is,

A lot of people came to our exhibition and seeing everyone work together as a group and make the exhibition a success was very eye pleasing.

CONTEXTUAL : Production Report 2.3

For one of the scenes, we needed an enclosed room with a TV so that we could film the cult members realising Alice Myers took the missing piece of the artifact.

Makeup session. Guess where this is?

Originally I wanted a dialogue from the cult representative with a close-up shot. But turns out we completely forgot the fact that Ailsa shaved part of her hair like Skrillex and now after tying up her hair she looks kind of like a boy. It felt unsuitable for the cult representative.

So then we decided to abandon close-up shots of Ailsa.

After that, we went to shoot some shots of Veronica entering the lift.

Awkward stubby fingers.

Although so, right after that,
this shot was pretty interesting.
We had Zaina to look at the small piece while waiting for the elevator to go down,
but she did not realise that the cult members are already there, waiting to ambush her.

We chose an angle whereby the audience
could only see part of Veronica's face and part of the cult member's face.

The focus was on the artifact, but at the same time, things are going on background/

That scene didn't take us too long, and so we proceeded to the car park scene.

I can't say much about this scene as it would be a prettyyy big spoiler,
but the most I could insist is that none of these are part of the movie.

Originally Jamie took these shots for poster-making,
but when we looked at them again, we felt that it was a bit unsuitable.

Yet, this scene is a very important scene.
This is where everything changes
and nothing is concluded.

Different types of hypothesis would fly through the air
debates will be rant on
as to what,
why,
who
and
what else would happen after all this?

Here's a bit of Afiqah searching some information about some stuff we needed,
and Ailsa's styling Zaina's hair. I believe I went out to buy all of us dinner.

Sorry guys, don't want to spoil you guys too much!
