Colour Theory Part 2

What can be said in general about warm colour ?
-Yellow, orange & red are the basic warm colour. These colour make you feel warm when you look at it.




What can be said in general about cool colour ?
-Blue, green, purple and grey are the basic cool colour. These colour make you feel cool when you look at it.




Which colours are associated with stability ?
-Green, Blue and Brown are often associated with depth and stability. Its the colour of harmony and neutrals.













Which colour symbolize royalty ?
-Purple symbolize royalty and the colour of good judgement. Its also symbolize power, nobility, luxury and ambition. it convey wealth and extravagance. Its also defined wisdom, dignity, independence, mystery, magic and creative.





Which is the colour of cleanliness ?
- White symbolize cleanliness and also define purity, goodness and innocence.




Which colour symbolize freshness ?
- Green symbolize freshness as it is nature colour. Its bring relaxation to the eyes and also represent, freshness, liveliness, harmony and clarity.




Which are associated with joy ?
- Yellow and Orange are the colours of joy, happiness, intellect, energy. its produce warming effect and and stimulus mental activities. These colours are also attention getter.



 Which colour symbolizes passion and danger ?
-Red is a very intense colour. Its also symbolize passion, love, danger, heat, power and strength. Lighter shade defined passion, joy, sexuality, sensitivity and love while darker shade defined vigor, willpower, rage, anger, leadership, courage, longing, malice and wrath.

Colour Theory Part 1 :

 Definition :

Hue :
-The property of light by which the colour are classified into red, blue, green or yellow in reference to the spectrum.
-A gradition of variety of colour



Value :
- Lightness
- Refer to how dark or light the colour is.






Saturation :
-refer to how a hue appear under certain condition of light.


Secondary Colour :
- Green, Orange and Purple 
-Form by mixing the primary colour




Tertiary Colour :
- Yellow-Orange, Red-Orange, Red-Purple, Blue-Purple, Blue-Green & Yellow Green
-Form by mixing the secondary colour with primary colour.
 

Complementary Colour :
-Colour that complement each other.
-When used together in colour scheme, especially dynamics and pleasing to eyes.




Analogues Colour :
- Colour that are next to each other on the colour wheel.




Tint :
- A colour which white is added to form tint.




Shade :
- A colour which black is added to form shade.






Neutrals :
- Is the combination of complementary colours.

POD : Cut Out

Hi there,

so few weeks back, we received an assignment about paper cut out. So, the deal is create 2 paper cut out with balance and symmetry and negative space each. So i choose wolf as my theme. I was inspired by a friend of mine during the Tioman trip, well we're quite close back then but after we came back from tioman, we're not that close. Well, the situation now is
different.. :( I was quite excited at first but after i submitted my assignment, im not that excited anymore, everything is a mess. NOT the project, just everything around me. OMG, im not writing my diary here. haha XD So, I am very satisfied with what i've done. And my hard work paid off.

So, Here are my work


This is my negative space assignment. 



This is my symmetry assignment, well mine is not exactly symmetry and i purposely did this to be a little bit different with others and i did.. :) Since i have double personality i think i did a good job. :P
