POD : Colour Theory


Colour Theory Part 1 :

 Definition :

Hue :
-The property of light by which the colour are classified into red, blue, green or yellow in reference to the spectrum.
-A gradition of variety of colour



Value :
- Lightness
- Refer to how dark or light the colour is.






Saturation :
-refer to how a hue appear under certain condition of light.


Secondary Colour :
- Green, Orange and Purple 
-Form by mixing the primary colour




Tertiary Colour :
- Yellow-Orange, Red-Orange, Red-Purple, Blue-Purple, Blue-Green & Yellow Green
-Form by mixing the secondary colour with primary colour.
 

Complementary Colour :
-Colour that complement each other.
-When used together in colour scheme, especially dynamics and pleasing to eyes.




Analogues Colour :
- Colour that are next to each other on the colour wheel.




Tint :
- A colour which white is added to form tint.




Shade :
- A colour which black is added to form shade.






Neutrals :
- Is the combination of complementary colours.
